Bauman Impact Crater
of Central Montana
Dave at Mars Desert Research Station: Utah
I have discovered a large impact crater, about 140 miles in diameter, that covers an area equal to at least one-ninth of the entire state of Montana - or more if you count the outer chevron.
Central Montana sunset. Or possibly, initial impact, aerial shock wave, and atmospheric after glow.
Pictures taken at my mother's house in Moore Montana. Sunsets here are always awesome!
